It's obviously Sandy and Corey's call ultimately, and it's nothing to do with how I feel about Alyssa but I'd much rather somebody be on the jury because THEY got themselves far, not with some shitty outside help. Obviously bringing someone like Olyvia back is a horrid option, but at least Olyvia didn't get fed information that would eventually help her squeeze through the game.
I dunno, it's just a shame that Alyssa would get to sit on the jury instead of Kirin, or Cait-Ling, or anybody who didn't break the rules and played the game fairly.

On what level were the alumni given access too? Because it seemed from that quote that they'd be privvy to things written in journals.

Sandy, Its a big kick in the teeth for you, the fact that people were getting outsider information and it was being relayed so effortlessly between the alumni and chosen players within the game to help them benefit from what you had wrote. However, this is a two way street. Relationships between the players and alumni are tight, and with information being told in the alumni board that was related to interpersonal relationships and strategy it was only a matter of time before something like this occured. You had placed a lot of trust into your alumni and a select few decided to abuse this. And I believe that in order for anything like this to not occur in the future is to draw a line between what is relevant to the game and what isnt. Although its easy to use your platform to "call out" people, some will try their hardest to ruin it for those who want to play this game because the people they are rooting for could stand a chance of elimination. I dont see how you posting information in the alumni forum about internal affairs is pertinent to them but I'm not the host, I'm just the player and I feel very disheartened that something like this occured. I want to continue playing this game, as do the rest of us. Erik, Alyssa, you guys had this information and yet you refused to notify the production team. I dont "hate" or "disrespect" your attitudes, what I'm most concerned about is that this information was chosen to be hidden, when this could've been resolved a lot sooner and then this punishment of Alyssa being removed would not have happened. Best of luck with your future endeavors. Sandy, I think that the alumni forum should be shut down totally. Thats just my opinion, you had trust in your people and there is not a 100% guarantee that the remaining alumni who can access the board will stick to the guidelines you set out. Also, I think that your professional attitude to the game has to be sharpened because as a "fan" of the series with no history and no knowledge of the "favs" who have competed before, i personally feel alienated from this as i am not aware of alumni behaviour. Thats just my thoughts. Pick and pry them all you want. But remember that its a two-way street, the information was there and the trust was abused. Both parties are to blame. Let me explain how the Alumni boards work quickly. Sandy & I are the only ones that have access to all your journals. The alumni area is for past players to discuss the game and whats going on. Only a certain amount of people are allowed there every season and trust is a HUGE part of the alumni area, as the biggest rule there is not to leak information to the players. Information gets to the players by Sandy & I. There would be no point to having an alumni area and it would not be active if there was nothing to talk about. Sandy & I post details from your journals for the alumni and hosts to discuss. We realize this is a risk that we are taking but it adds fun to the game for everyone involved in the series. Out of all people, the alumni know damn well what Sandy likes and doesnt like in his game, yet they (and cast as well) continue to do things he doesnt like. HENCE WHY WE HAVE RULES POSTED BEFORE THE GAME STARTS FOR EVERYONE TO READ!!! If you arent going to abide by these rules then either dont play or expect to get caught at some point and kicked out of the game and not have access to alumni in the future or be able to play in future seasons. We put trust into our alumni at the start of the season, and we knew it was a risk having an alumni with half the cast being faves and past alumni members. But as i said we put trust in them and they failed. So we have taken that actions and weeded out the alumni of all its "weeds" or people that are the most likely to leak information. We have learnt our lesson and we will need to take into consideration who we chose as alumni in the future, instead of just active past players. We do realize that part of this is our fault but as you said, both parties are to blame. However, we made rules and they were expected to be followed by cast and alumni equally. Clearly more actions are required to keep this from happening, which we will take.

Good, I wouldn't want your vote. I'll win without it if I have to. And I won't need a fucking alumni to tell me when somebody's talking shit about me, or when somebody is targeting my BFF, or whatever the fuck else you found out. Besides, how far does it go before it's gone "too far" (and who the fuck are you to decide whether or not the info you got was pertinent to your survival, or the survival of anybody else for that matter)? To be honest though, I no longer care about your existence so wouldn't it be splendid if you saved everybody's time and just ceased responding to me?
